My name is Katherine Froggatt and good food is my whole life and founding Coriander Lime Kitchen is the culmination of my passion. A passion nurtured from childhood, I first learnt to pick and select fresh produce from weekly wet market outings with my mother.
At home, my food knowledge grew watching my mum experiment with meals, never failing to turn out a healthy, delicious feast regardless of time or budget. My interest in the cooking world flourished further when I chose a career path working with food magazines. It was here I took on a voluntary stint at a fine dining restaurant in Singapore to hone my culinary skills, and there met my husband, professional chef Paul Froggatt, executive chef of Kauri Cliffs Lodge in Kerikeri.
At Coriander Lime Kitchen, my mission is to provide cooking lessons to young and old, inspiring them to create fresh meals with the best locally-sourced produce. As a proud Singaporean I also hopes to share a part of Singapore’s inimitable food culture and contribute towards its growing importance on the global world food stage. Now I want to share this part of my culture with you.
Cooking class for a hens party weekend away. Katherine was so accommodating. The bride is plant based and Katherine and up with a menu to cater to her. The time went so quickly. Katherine has a great energy and kept things upbeat. Answered all of our questions. This is mostly a demonstration rather than a hands on experience. It is a great learning opportunity and you get yummy food at the end. Yayyyyyy!!!
